The interest for both our signature events is bigger than ever. As of today 196 teams have committed. A total of 16 different nationalities will be represented; Australia, Canada, Denmark, England, Finland, Germany, Mexico, the Netherlands, Sweden, Colombia, Spain, Belgium, Panama, Guatemala, South Korea and the USA.
In addition to the variety of nationalities, we will welcome a lot of top teams; Local top teams are Solar Chelsea, Dallas Texans SC, FC Dallas and Sting. From other states we will welcome Houston Express, Colorado Storm, San Diego Surf, Lonestar, Crossfire Premier, Players SC Elite Girls, Houston Texans, Continental FC, Sockers FC, Met Oval, Orlando City Academy and GOSA – Deltona.
Top international teams coming to Dallas include AIK Stockholm, Millwall FC, CF Monterrey Rayados, the Mexican National Team, Tigres, Chelsea FC, Blackburn Rovers, Ballerup-Skovlunde Fodbold, Fortuna Hjorring IF, Pumas – UNAM, DaeDong FC, Verona FC, InterCups, Bagoso, Manchester City, RSC Anderlecht, CD Guatemaya, Atletico Madrid and Liverpool FC.
We expect around 3,200 athletes and an estimated 3,000 parents, fans and spectators as well as over 100 college coaches. The Dallas International Girls Cup and IberCup USA will officially kick off Tuesday night, April 11 with an exciting opening ceremony for our competing clubs, featuring a guest speaker and live performances. Both tournaments are organized by the Dallas Texans SC, IberCup and Premier International Tours.
