Please read below information before submitting your application

 

Application procedures and acceptance criteria:

All teams are required to apply for the tournament and only applications that are submitted online through our website can be accepted. All sections of the application must be completed because this information is the basis for acceptance into the tournament. Once an application is submitted it is reviewed by the tournament committee for acceptance. Teams are selected based on various criteria including, but not limited to, level of team, geographic location and number of spots available. The Dallas International Girls Cup is an invitational tournament and the tournament committee reserves the right to accept or reject any application. 

 

North Texas teams indicating on their application that they can/will host an international team are usually accepted immediately. All applications from North Texas Teams who are not able host an international team will be placed under review by the tournament committee until a later date. Should a North Texas team indicate on their application that they are able to host an international team, but at a later date are no longer able to host an international team, the tournament committee reserves the right to replace that team with another local team who is able to host an international team if necessary.  For guidelines regarding the Home Stay program please see the "Tournament Information" section of the website. 

 

Application Deadline:

The application deadline is January 20th, 2021, or when/if tournament is full before this date.

Tournament Entry Fee:

A tournament entry fee of USD $1,295 for US teams and USD $1,045 for international teams must be paid within ten (10) days of submitting the online team application. 

Entry fees will only be deposited when your team is accepted. 

Entry fees must be paid by check. Please make checks payable to Premier International Tours for the tournament entry fee and send to:

Please indicate the name of the team on the check as you would like it to appear on all tournament printed material.

Please note: if a team withdraws from the tournament after being accepted, the paid team fees are non-refundable.

 

Tournament Play Dates:

Please note that tournament games will take place on the following days and times (times are subject to change):

 

Wednesday, March 31st: 10:00am - 10:00pm

Thursday, April 1st: 10:00am - 10:00pm

Friday, April 2nd: 10:00am - 10:00pm

Saturday, April 3rd: 9:00am - 8:30pm

Sunday, April 4th: 9:00am - 3:00pm

By applying and being accepted into the tournament you are acknowledging that your team is willing and able to play at least one morning game(s) on either Wednesday, March 31st, Thursday, April 1st, or Friday, April 2nd (scheduling requests must be made in advance and we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate all requests).

Arrival and Accommodation Information: 

International teams (except Canadian teams) must arrive by Monday, March 29th and out of state teams must arrive by 3:00pm on Tuesday, March 30th.

 

The Dallas International Girls Cup is a stay to play tournament all non-local teams are required to stay at an approved tournament hotel.

 

 

 

Homestay Program for international teams outside North America:

International teams may request participation in the Homestay program (for players only). The program, which places players in the homes of families from local Dallas teams that are also competing in tournament, is available on a limited basis but is not guaranteed until confirmed by the Dallas International Girls Cup. Requests for the Homestay program should be made as early as possible in the application process. Teams from North America (Canada and the USA) are not eligible for the Homestay program.
