DIGC welcomes its first ever Japanese team: Thespa Kusatsu Gunma!

Thespa Kusatsu Gunma comes from Maebashi, Gunma, north of the Tokyo metropolis. The name Thespa sounds similar to spa because it is named for the hot springs. The area of Kusatsu is surrounded by stunning mountains and is well known for its natural beauty.
Thespa Kusatsu Gunma plays in the 1st Division of the Gunma region and is currently undefeated with an impressive record of 6-0-3.
The team is coached by Sadayoshi Shirai who has been coaching for Thespa Kusatsu since 2010. Sadayoshi holds a JFA S Coaching License, which is the highest license a coach can hold in Japan.
